ACME Lithium Inc Partners with Israeli Satellite Technology Company ASTERRA to Accurately Identify Lithium Targets

ACME Lithium (CSE: ACME, OTCQB: ACLHF) and Israel-based satellite technology company ASTERRA have announced a collaborative agreement to identify lithium-specific targets.

ACME Lithium will be the first in the United States to use ASTERRA’s synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data analysis, patented algorithms and artificial intelligence to identify such targets, the company said.

Earlier this month, ACME announced a plan to conduct geological field review and sampling in the Fish Lake Valley using ASTERRA satellite technology. This resulted in the company’s highest apparent lithium value to date, with a lithium content of up to 1,325 parts per million (ppm).

ACME Lithium CEO Steve Hanson said in a statement: “The collaboration and initial case study with technology leader ASTERRA has confirmed the property’s historical and emerging lithium deposits, and certain areas are lithium-rich. “

Using ASTERRA’s technology approximately doubled the number of possible locations with lithium levels above 100 ppm compared to traditional geochemical prospecting methods. These values are at coordinates precisely positioned by ASTERRA satellite technology and results confirmed by an independent laboratory.

The two companies are currently evaluating a second project utilizing the technology.

ASTERRA CEO Elly Perets said: “Combining ASTERRA technology with ACME Lithium has enabled unprecedented efficiency in the costly activity of identifying lithium deposits and potential deposits.”

ASTERRA’s sophisticated artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms extract signals of subsurface lithium concentrations from satellite-based PolSAR data and potentially pinpoint locations containing different grades of lithium, the company said. The technology could provide ACME with a way to find lithium target locations while potentially reducing exploration time and costs.

ACME Lithium is focused on acquiring, exploring and developing battery metals projects in partnership with leading technology and commodity companies.
