Anand Gandhi, the builder of the ship of Tumbad and Theseus, Anand Gandhi is known for pushing the boundaries of thought and possibility in any medium he touches, be it film, games or technology.
He’s again sharing something cutting edge on Instagram – images from a movie storyboard that he created purely using artificial intelligence.
These gorgeous images are from a hard sci-fi movie he announced in 2019 called Emergence. Since 2015, Anand has been speculating about a pandemic that has brought the world to a standstill. Ironically, the film has been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In the post, Anand shared: “Ten years ago, when I visited the MIT Media Lab, I was exposed to text-to-image AI. Computer vision will inform our future in ways that I can only vaguely speculate, but are influenced by me The limit of the upper limit of the imagination.”
His audience and industry peers couldn’t contain their excitement over the images. Actor Vijay Verma commented: “This looks special, Anand. I hope and hope you can do this ⚡⚡” Many other users also pleaded, “Please make this happen!”
