Davenport, Iowa (KWQC) – Now that the 2022 Christmas holidays have officially begun, INSI6HT will explore how leaders in Davenport, Rock Island and Bettendorf are developing programs and activities that engage the public and allow everyone to businesses in the community benefit.
All downtowns in every city will really be decked out this year. That certainly includes Maureen, though representatives were not involved in the discussion.
INSI6HT would like to thank the following roundtable participants:
- Kyle Carter, Executive Director, Downtown Davenport Partnership
- Ryan Jantzi, Executive Director, Downtown Bettendorf Organization
- Jack Cullen, Director, Downtown Rock Island
Discussions revolved around a number of “decorating downtown” projects, including Davenport’s Hunt for the Holiday pickle decoration, inspired by German heritage, Rock Island’s Hunt for the Holiday Train decoration, and Bettendorf’s Hunt for the new I-74 Bridge decoration Taste.
For more information on the former, visit downtowndavenport.com, downtownrockisland.org or the Downtown Bettendorf Facebook page.
