2022 Week 13 Fantasy Football Sleeper

🚨Attention🚨 These are sleepers. They won’t copy my rankings 100%. This is chasing gains, and often comes with more risk.

quarterback

Likely starters: Trevor Lawrence, JAX — First, the Lions gave up 3.3 more FPPG than any other team. Yes, part of that was the rushing touchdowns allowed (six), but that included rushing scores from Geno Smith, Daniel Jones and Josh Allen. Lawrence is scoring 16.7+ points per game where he completes at least 70 percent of his passes. The one time Lawrence scored 18.7 points but fell short of completions (51.2 percent) was a rushing touchdown against the Giants. The Lions are in the top half of the league in allowing quarterback completions (64.7 percent) and are more likely to score high at home.

run back

Likely start: Dameon Pierce, keep — As mentioned in Waiver, it’s Infinity Duck time. Worries can’t get worse, but if there’s one right game, it’s against the Browns. Only the Bengals failed to post double-digit run points against the Browns, who had the highest APA. They also lead the league in rushing yards (1,592) and rushing touchdowns allowed (14). If Pierce doesn’t finish in the top 20 in Week 13, he’s screwed.

Hail Mary begins: Kyren Williams, LAR – The Seahawks are another good game – just ask Josh Jacobs. Even before that, Leonard Fournette and Rachaad White had no problem running backs for the Seahawks, who have allowed the second-most receiving yards as running backs. Williams had 70.9 percent of his snaps in Week 12, but more importantly, Cam Akers was 61.5 percent of his passes to just 37.5 percent.

wide receiver

Possible start: Allen Lazard, UK — Even with only a 3-2-24 lineup in Week 12, Lazard still has the highest Snap% (100) and Route% (96.4) of any receiver and tight end. Christian Watson’s drive certainly hurt Lazard a little, but the Bears’ game wasn’t a cause for concern. The only problem is that some teams didn’t get through that much due to the easy win over the Bears. This is another reason why Lazard is a possible/sleeper start and not in the top 30 guaranteed range. Mike White had no issues with the Bears last week, finding three touchdowns from Garrett Wilson and Elijah Moore, and that’s what we’re hoping for with Lazard’s touchdowns, even if Watson gets his.

Likely starter: Diontae Johnson, PIT – Johnson remains 25th in TmTGT% (24.9) and 8th in goals (94) across all wideouts. It didn’t result in a touchdown…not even 85 yards. Is that the new Johnson… the old Jacoby Meyers? That’s why DiontBAE is just a DiontMAY…be…start. On top of that, the Falcons can speed up the clock by running the ball constantly, so the 10-target chance might be smart. Still, most receivers with eight or more targets against the Falcons come into the first 30 days… at most.

Hail Mary starts: DJ Chark, DET — Chuck has played in five games and has shot at least 65 percent from the field in only four of them (just 15.9 percent in Week 11, his first game since his injury in Week 3). In those four games, Chuck had a TmTGT% of 16.1 and totaled 23-9-114-2 for 13.2, 0.0, 6.1 and 8.6 points. As Lawrence mentioned, this could be a sneaky high-scoring event, especially if Jared Goff is better at home. Chuck deserves a deep passing game for a touchdown.

tight end

Hail Mary starts: David Njoku, CLE — Honestly, just playing Njoku. Since Week 3, Njoku has just three single-digit points compared to four double-digit games, two of which were single-digit efforts that still netted 7.3 and 9.2, and the other was the first of his return. games. Even in limited play and missed time, Njoku has been TE8 since Week 3 and is fifth in FPPG. Oh, and he’s up against the Texans this week.

Fun rankings!
Ranking Marvel Phase 4

With the Guardians of the Galaxy holiday special airing and Marvel Phase 4 wrapping up – which also kicked off the Christmas viewing season – I thought, “Why not rank all of Marvel’s Phase 4?” Well, you can object to it because it has a lot of “meh”, but we’ll have fun arguing ranks anyway, right? It’s essentially the last location for TV/movies – some great ones, and a lot of, uh, I think so.

  1. Spider-Man: Nowhere to Return — Travis Kelce in the fourth period. First this, and then everything else, because Nowhere to Go is the best superhero movie to date.
  2. Rocky – awesome. That’s how you plant the seed and make a Marvel series.
  3. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever — Dramatic action? Great and tasteful transition. My main problem is that with the introduction of Namor, the new Black Panther, and Ironheart (they didn’t even say her name), there wasn’t any progress other than a potential future tie-in.
  4. Wanda Vision – Sure, the later episodes explain the first few episodes, but man, the first three episodes – arguably some of the finale – let the show’s bottom line be low despite its high ceiling. It’s Gabe Davis.
  5. Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special — sort out some clues, check everyone in, and have a good laugh. Add this to your list of Christmas movies.
  6. Thor: Love and Thunder – I understand the hate, I just don’t agree with most of it. Is this a one-off Marvel movie? Sure, but most of Phase 4 is a bit haphazard and loose. Still fun.
  7. eagle eye — Die Hard as a superhero show…was more like Christmas than Die Hard. Why hate?
  8. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness — WandaVision Some redundancies to Wanda, but even so, coupled with a love-hate music scene (I hate it), and more focus on Wanda than Dr. Odds, this is a good movie.
  9. if…? – teases us about the weird plot with the Doctor (it’s probably a big part of the movie’s plot), but we have superhero zombies and more interesting “what-ifs”.
  10. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Commandments — Another fun movie, even with a bombastic CGI ending (and too much Awkwafina).
  11. black widow — It was misplaced throughout the storyline due to release timing (delay). Still a nice-to-spec hybrid with more spy content.
  12. i’m big – short fun…although, there was one episode that was pretty dark.
  13. werewolf night – I have a feeling some people like it. It’s ok. Similar to the GotG special, this is a themed (Halloween) short, which is very fitting for what it is.
  14. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier – not bad. I can tell you that Sam Wilson is the new Captain America… as you probably already know and assume.
  15. moon knight – as confusing as it tries to get through the plot. Like a lot of Phase 4, Marvel tries new things, but this feels like one that isn’t “glued” to the wall.
  16. She-Hulk: Lawyer — Speaking of trying new things… I’m not even sure She-Hulk knew from one episode to the next what it wanted to be, or what to try. Just watch this.
  17. Mrs.Miracle – I tried. Really tried though I couldn’t even finish this, sure, it might get teenagers invested in Marvel material, but I’m way past that demographic. Get off my lawn!
  18. immortal – Wang. Cool effects and motion, but… that’s all.
