Getting started with iPad and iPhone: Are you new to Apple technology and want to get to know it better? This is a free monthly course that covers the basics of how to use your Apple iPad or iPhone. Make sure your device is fully charged when you arrive. This free class for adults is held on the first Thursday of every month (so in February, February 2, 2023) from 10:30am to 12:00pm at the WT Bland Public Library in Mount Dora. Registration is required, so please use the link to register. There is currently a waiting list for the February session, so you may or may not be accepted. The March session will be held on March 2, and registration for the March session will begin on February 9.
iPad and iPhone 101: Here’s another chance to get to know your Apple devices. This is a free monthly course that covers the basics of the device, how Apple differs from the rest, how to download and use apps, and covers questions from the group. This is a free class for adults and seniors and takes place on the second Wednesday of each month (so in February, 8th February 2023) 5:30 – 6:30 pm at Cagan in Clermont Crossings Community Library. No registration required.

Bring your devices and you’ll learn how to use Google’s voice search, email, maps, apps, Google GPS, Google Play and more. Make sure your device is fully charged before class. Smartphone Accessibility: In this free course for adults, you’ll learn how to customize your smartphone so you can see and listen more easily. Grab a fully charged smartphone (any brand) and learn how to increase text size, make phone buttons bigger, add a screen reader, increase ringer volume, connect hearing aids, and use live captioning.
