Nov 17 (Reuters) – Hasbro Inc (HAS.O) said on Thursday it was considering selling part of its eOne production unit, which makes TV shows including “Yellow Jackets” and “Rookie,” Because the toymaker wants to streamline its business and focus on its core brands.
The company bought eOne, maker of the popular children’s TV show “Peppa Pig,” for about $4 billion in 2019. Hasbro said Peppa Pig was not part of the business it was trying to sell.
Shares of Hasbro rose slightly in premarket trading.
