Republic, Missouri. (KY3) – An employee at Republic Enterprises is relieved after a strange and potentially dangerous experience.
A domestic violence suspect walked into the office of Eva Ramirez on Monday, police said. He explained that his car had broken down and needed to use her phone. A few minutes later, police showed up near her building. The man then started behaving strangely and started hiding.
“I looked at this cop and I thought, you need to stare at me,” Ramirez said. “He did, he stepped in and got him up very quickly. I asked a police officer outside if he was dangerous and he said: ‘Yes. “
Ramirez said staying calm and being kind to the man helped keep her safe. The Republican police said the man was a suspect in a domestic attack.
