Police Say 2 Suspicious Devices Found at Kingdom Auditorium of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Thornton, Colorado

A man shot and killed his wife at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Auditorium in Thornton, Colorado, before taking his own life, police said.

The Adams County coroner will later identify the deceased, police said.

They also said that “Adams County Sheriff’s Hazardous Materials Unit is currently investigating a suspicious device found at the scene” and that police are interviewing witnesses as part of the ongoing investigation.

According to police, there is “no known threat to the Thornton community”.

Thornton is about 10 miles north of downtown Denver.
