Thieves steal 9 cars from San Francisco businesses

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – Thieves broke into a San Francisco auto dealership early Saturday and stole nine vehicles, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

Police received reports of a burglary at a business in the 1600 block of Howard Street around 4:30 a.m. Saturday. The BMW dealership is located on the same block and there is a Mini service station in the adjacent building. Officers arrived at the scene at 2.10pm on Saturday and met with an employee of the business.

The employee told police that two suspects broke into the business and stole nine vehicles. Officials learned that the company was able to locate and recover six of the stolen vehicles.
