FARGO – A West Fargo woman has been accused of stealing approximately $100,000 from a plumbing company she worked for.
Lisa Michelle Koehmstedt, 51, appeared on Friday, September 9. 30, charged with felony theft in Cass County District Court. If convicted, she could face up to 20 years in prison.
According to the criminal complaint, Koehmstedt, an accountant for the Fargo Riverside Plumbing Company, allegedly stole the money. Records provided to investigators by Riverside owner Jeremy Johnson show the thefts took place between July 2020 and June 2022, the complaint said.
A fraud audit revealed that $96,604 was paid to AT&T, Glitter and Tees and 7 O One, the complaint said.
Koehmstedt was booked into the Cass County Jail on Thursday.
